Outcomes of Information Security Seminar in Helsinki: Finnish Organizations are Interested in High-End Security Solutions

18, April, 2013. ScienceSoft in cooperation with IBM and Pedab held a seminar “Information Security Management and Compliance with International Standards” at Helsinki Music Centre, Finland.

The seminar agenda found a broad response among various business sectors including IT services, telecommunications, public services, government, education and others. Over 30 participants holding senior business and IT roles came together to discuss information security challenges.

During the seminar, speakers representing the Finnish public sector, IBM and ScienceSoft covered topics ranging from ROI in information security to advanced threat protection as well as diverse tools and techniques that can help businesses resist information security threats and risks. The participants had an opportunity to observe a live demonstration of QRadar – the IBM flagship product in the field of information security and event management.
