Olga Sauchyk
Olga started her career in testing in 2013 when she joined ScienceSoft as Junior Test Engineer. She climbed up the professional ladder to become Lead Test Engineer in 2016.
As Lead Test Engineer, Olga plans QA and testing activities for ScienceSoft’s customers, oversees if testing activities are executed according to a test strategy and a test plan. Olga also makes sure that testing activities align with the customer’s development process, reports on the status of testing and handles other forms of interaction with the customer.
Olga has successfully guided ScienceSoft’s test teams through 10+ projects. A recent project, for which Olga managed QA, involved testing of a learning content management system for a European e-learning leader. To share her practical experience further, Olga heads a mentorship program within ScienceSoft’s QA department.
Having headed a number of QA outsourcing projects, Olga is sure that the key to the QA outsourcing success is a structured QA process and efficient communication between a customer’s and a vendor’s teams. Olga popularizes this idea in the articles she writes for ScienceSoft’s QA blog. For instance, she has created a software testing outsourcing guide to help companies starting with QA outsourcing to make their initiative a success.
Leading QA teams within outsourcing engagements, I encourage my team members to put themselves into our customer’s shoes. Doing so is harder than merely delivering a service, but the success achieved in the end is always worth the effort.
