The Client needed an appealing promotional website to support its presentation at an upcoming conference. The website was supposed to be purely informational, without many interactive elements. However, the Client was facing a tight deadline of just two weeks to set the website live.
From Discovery to Website Delivery in 2 Weeks
ScienceSoft assigned a front-end developer and a UI designer to lead the website development. We also engaged a project manager to facilitate fast communication with the Client and ensure effective coordination among team members to avoid any delays. In the later stages, a testing engineer joined the team to verify the website’s usability across desktop and mobile devices.
Although the timeline was tight, we dedicated time to discovery to ensure that the team gained a clear understanding of the requirements for the website. During this stage, we found out that the Client planned to integrate a CMS in the future to enhance the website’s capabilities. This insight influenced our choice of a suitable front-end framework for the website. We opted for Gatsby, a React-based open-source framework compatible with numerous headless CMS options, which would ensure the website’s future scalability and flexibility.
We kept the website structure simple, featuring a home page and three core content pages: About Company, Services, and Team. We designed each page with straightforward navigation and visually distinct content blocks to ensure ease of use. In design, we adhered to a clean and professional aesthetic, reflecting the Client’s corporate identity and brand colors.
Anticipating that conference attendees would likely use mobile devices to explore the website, we went for adaptive design. We used pre-built page layouts optimized for various screen sizes to ensure a seamless viewing experience on smartphones, tablets, and desktops.
