ScienceSoft’s penetration tester obtains a CEH certificate

On August 21, 2017 Uladzislau Murashka, ScienceSoft’s penetration tester, was acknowledged as a Certified Ethical Hacker.
The certificate is issued by International Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants (EC-Council), an internationally recognized professional certification body. The CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) certificate serves as a validation that a pentester complies to the standards of information security in ethical hacking measures.
Being a member of the information security team for 5+ years, Uladzislau has been performing various penetration testing services including reverse engineering, black box, white box and gray box penetration testing of web and mobile applications. This experience came in handy to score 93.6 points out 100 on the exam to become a Certified Ethical Hacker.
The four-hour certification exam included 125 questions covering a wide range of information security-related topics, such as network and web application security, social engineering, corporate information security, professional tools used in penetration testing and ethical hackers’ code of practice.
Having become a Certified Ethical Hacker, Uladzislau has proved his skills to look for weaknesses and vulnerabilities in target systems and use the hacking tools in a legitimate manner to assess a system’s security.
