Cross-Platform App for Convenient Access to Online Credit Marketplace
About Our Client
The Client is an intermediary between banks and consumers looking to get a loan on the most favorable terms. On its website, the company lists the best credit offers so that a visitor could find the most suitable one and submit a credit request. The Client then coordinates the requests with the chosen bank and later informs the customer about the bank’s decision.
Challenge
The Client’s business activity is completely website-based. To make its services available for mobile users, the company wanted to create a mobile lending application that, our Client believed, would be more convenient in use than a mobile version of the website. The company also embraced the idea of cross-platform mobile development on Cordova and Ionic for the app to be available on both Android and iOS.
Solution
As soon as the Client specified the application design, ScienceSoft’s lending app development team proceeded with implementing the project. The Client chose to add some functionality to the app’s requirements in the course of development, thus extending the work scope and prolonging the timeframe from one to three months.
The application allows users to conveniently fill in the loan application form and immediately submit it to the Client. The main menu lists banks’ cash loans and credit cards offers.
App users can also read guides on applying for a loan, join discussions in the comments or contact the customer support to clarify some information.
Results
The Client was pleased with the application quality and performance. On its website, the company now offers its customers to download the application both from Apple Store and Google Play for free.
