Mary embarked on her IT career in 2015 as a Business Analyst and Project Manager. Drawing on her prior experience as a lawyer, she had already honed essential skills for top-level business analysis – effective communication, acute attention to detail, and objective, value-oriented advice. This granted Mary a sure start and rapid career advancements.
In 2016, Mary joined ScienceSoft as a Mid-Level Business Analyst and soon moved up to Lead Business Analyst. Her meticulous approach to requirements gathering played a pivotal role in driving ScienceSoft’s software projects to their goals and adapting agilely to evolving client needs.
Throughout her career, Mary has developed profound expertise in the financial IT domain, specializing in data analytics, risk management, and regulatory compliance. She has participated in ScienceSoft’s major projects for banking, investment, payments, and corporate finance. Among the large-scale systems engineered with Mary’s deep involvement are a collaborative DMS for an investment company serving 30,000+ investment entities, a business intelligence solution for organization-wide financial analytics, and automated transactional systems for banks and payment service providers.
The client-side financial apps launched with Mary’s assistance gained widespread recognition and market leadership. Mary’s prominent development projects include web and mobile banking solutions for a bank with 3M+ customers, secure mobile banking apps for a private bank with $2B+ in assets, and award-winning mobile banking apps that top the lists of best m-banking solutions for iOS and Android.
Owing to Mary’s exceptional leadership skills and tireless dedication to the success of the custom software development projects she was involved in, Mary was promoted to Head of Business Analysis in 2024. In this role, she organizes a team of 40+ business analysts and consultants and challenges each team player with the tasks that suit their skills, talents, and background the most. At the same time, she encourages self-education and motivates the team to upgrade their competencies continually.
The Business Analyst role requires close cooperation with ScienceSoft’s development team. Mary ensures that the two teams agree on how they can power diverse business processes with technology and guarantee an appropriate return on investment for delivered solutions.
Mary deftly balances her responsibilities in management, business analysis, and consulting. She continues to work on scoping and documentation for complex BFSI initiatives, as well as guides and supports BA team members in their project activities. As a Financial IT Principal Consultant, Mary helps ScienceSoft’s financial service clients boost operational efficiency, improve customer experience, enhance risk management, and address sectoral security and compliance requirements by implementing one-of-a-kind BFSI solutions and advanced financial technologies. She actively engages in the Financial IT community, participating in domain conferences, seminars, and discussions.
