On April 28, 2016 ScienceSoft joined the Dallas Regional Chamber, reinforcing its connection with the Dallas community.
Joining the Dallas Regional Chamber (DRC), ScienceSoft entered a network of unique and diverse businesses across Dallas. Once a part of this network, ScienceSoft will apply its significant knowledge and experience in information technology to facilitate innovation and development in the region alongside such prominent IT companies as IBM, Microsoft Corporation and SAP.
We are eager to engage in the exchange of experience and ideas through participation in the activities and networking opportunities of the DRC, including Task Forces and Councils, annual and quarterly events, and sharing our business-related insights on the DRC Blog.
The Dallas Regional Chamber is the voice of Dallas’ business community and a leading membership-driven business organization in the area. Since 1909, the DRC has been contributing to the region’s economic prosperity by leading economic development, driving improvements in public education, influencing public policy, and catalyzing and advocating for regional partnerships.
The Dallas region is the country’s largest land-locked metropolitan area. Besides having the highest density of corporate headquarters in the country, the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex also homes the state’s largest Information Technology industry base known as Silicon Prairie, and is the 6th US metro by high-tech jobs concentration. Mentions in a number of well-known business ranks prove Dallas to have a favorable business climate. According to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the efficiency of business regulation in Dallas in regard to starting a business, dealing with construction permits, registering property, paying taxes and enforcing contacts ranks highest among metro regions.
