Key Account Manager (Healthcare Market)

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Key Account Manager with a specialization in the healthcare sector to manage and grow relationships with our key clients. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of healthcare business operations, compliance requirements, and the ability to deliver exceptional client satisfaction. This role requires working with cross-functional teams to execute projects successfully while ensuring compliance with industry standards like HIPAA, COPPA, and GDPR.

Location: Poland/Latvia/Lithuania.

Responsibilities

1. Key Client Management

  • Build and maintain long-term, strategic partnerships with healthcare clients.
  • Develop and implement client retention and growth strategies, including lifecycle management.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through consistent engagement and effective expectation management.

2. Project Team Collaboration

  • Lead project teams across all phases, including planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication between clients and internal teams such as development, DevOps, QA, and other departments.
  • Conduct regular status meetings to monitor progress, address risks, and develop solutions proactively.

3. Team Leadership

  • Work with HR and department leaders to recruit and allocate resources for projects.
  • Guide cross-functional teams to meet the specific objectives of banking and insurance clients.
  • Motivate and support teams to achieve high performance and engagement.

4. Strategic Client Planning and Development

  • Develop and execute growth strategies tailored to clients.
  • Plan joint initiatives to expand collaboration and address healthcare-specific needs.
  • Design tactical plans to increase sales, broaden service offerings, and enhance competitiveness.
  • Regularly assess client needs and adapt strategies in response to evolving requirements.

5. Project Financial Management

  • Manage profitability of projects, including revenue, expenses, and margin analysis.
  • Prepare and coordinate budgets with internal and client teams in alignment with industry constraints.
  • Address budget deviations with timely solutions to maintain profitability without compromising service quality.

6. Sales and Business Development

  • Analyze client businesses to identify growth opportunities and provide tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, negotiate agreements, and finalize contract terms.
  • Drive cross-selling (additional services) and upselling (enhanced service offerings) tailored to healthcare operations.

7. Compliance and Contract Management

  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations.
  • Monitor compliance with contract terms and SLAs.
  • Address complex issues and resolve conflicts related to contract execution.

8. Analytics and Reporting

  • Maintain detailed reporting for clients, including profitability, project status, and satisfaction metrics.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of implemented strategies and plan future initiatives.
  • Stay updated on healthcare market trends to offer innovative, compliant solutions to clients.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in managing client accounts (healthcare experience is strongly preferred).
  • Proven success in project management is a significant advantage.

Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of healthcare business operations and workflows.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as HIPAA, COPPA, and GDPR.
  • Expertise in core IT services and products (software development, DevOps, support, etc.).
  • Sales methodologies and client lifecycle management.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • High stress-resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Languages:

  • Proficiency in English (C1 level or higher) is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
